Best gaming mouse under 250 €
Wireless and lightweight: mice under 250 € in stock, ranked on what matters for aiming.
A gaming mouse is chosen today on two criteria that have changed the market: wireless and weight. The proprietary wireless links of the major brands have caught up with wired mice in responsiveness, and remove the cable that snags on the mat at the wrong moment. Weight is the second lever: under 70 grams, the mouse starts and stops faster, which matters in games where you aim a lot. High-end sensors are all equivalent beyond a few thousand dots per inch, and that figure is no longer a deciding argument. What remains is the shape, which cannot be read from a spec sheet: a symmetrical mouse suits every grip, an ergonomic one fits the right hand. Office mice are included in the list but rank lower, being heavier. This ranking only includes models in stock at VoltCore, at catalogue prices; each product page states the weight, the sensor and the connection.
By VoltCore, published on July 3, 2026. The ranking is recalculated on every visit from today's prices and stock — viewed in September 2026.
How this ranking is computed
The index favours wireless, then light weight: every gram under 110 g counts. DPI does not enter the calculation, since current sensors all exceed real needs, and neither does price. Colour variants of the same model count as one. Only mice in stock.
Limitations to keep in mind
Shape and grip often decide more than the figures, and they cannot be measured on a spec sheet. Battery life of wireless models is not scored. Prices and stock are today's.
If you are new to this
"DPI" measures sensor sensitivity: beyond a few thousand, they are all equivalent. A "2.4 GHz" or "Lightspeed" link is wireless through a small USB receiver, faster than Bluetooth.
